The region is known for its significant culture and tradition. It is most untouched region of India, which is the home of various tribes and still they follow their own culture, tradition, lifestyle and language. The duration of the package 24 nights and 25 days. During the tour you will get the chance to understand the diversity of the culture and tradition of the North East region and you know the real tribal lifestyle, how to depend on agriculture, fishing and hunting as well. Apart from this you will also get the chance to explore the amazing wildlife of this region. Apart from natural beauty, you will also get the chance to explore the major historical monuments as well. Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Kolkata (By flight)

Upon arrival at Kolkata Airport/Railway Station, meet our representative followed with a check-in to your pre-reserved Hotel.  Kolkata formerly known as Calcutta is the capital of West Bengal and is located on the bank of the Hooghly River. Kolkata being one of the metropolitan cities of India is a home to different cultures, religions, styles where its population has been happily amalgamated. Kolkata is also considered as the 'Paris of the East'.  Kolkata is famous since British era as it was the capital of India till 1912. The Day is kept free for Leisure after a long journey and you may choose to visit the surrounding places in the evening.

Day 02: Kolkata Sightseeing

After Breakfast, proceed for Kolkata sightseeing tour with our Tour Representative to see the popular places such as Dakshineswar Temple, Indian Museum, Marble Palace, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Victoria memorial, Eden Gardens, Howrah Bridge and Hoogli River. At the end of the tour, back to your Hotel and relax.

Day 03: Kolkata -Dibrugarh (By flight)

Today after breakfast, drive to the Kolkata airport to board the flight for Dribrugarh. Upon arrival at Dibrugarh airport, meet our representative and transfer to hotel. Dibrugarh is known as Tea City of India. It is the one of the major city in Assam. It is closed to the Kaziranga National Park. Located on the bank of Brahmaputra Rive.

On arrival, check in to the hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Dibrugarh Sightseeing

Today after breakfast, proceed to the explore the major attractions of Dibrugarh including BahikhowaMaidam, RaidongiaDol, LekaiChetiaMaidam, BarbaruaMaidam and DehingSatra. After sightseeing return back to the hotel, rest day is free at leisure.

Day 05:  Dibrugarh – Sivasagar(By Road-364 Kilometres)

After breakfast, proceed to Sivasagar. It is a small township, located in the eastern part of Assam. This beautiful city is blessed with a glorious historical background. During six centuries, it was the capital of the Ahom rulers, which ended with the arrival of British in the 19th century. It was not only the political capital but also the cultural capital of Assam.

Upon arrival check in to the hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06: Sivasagar Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed to explore the major attractions of Sivasagar including TalatalGhar,  Jaysagar Tank and Temples, Tai Ahom Museum, Gaurisagar Tank And Temples and PaniDihing Wildlife Sanctuary. After sightseeing return back to the hotel.

Day 07: Sivasagar – Mon(By Road-70 Kilometres)

Today after having an early breakfast depart by car for Mon. En route stop at Moran for lunch.

Mon is located at the height of 897.64 meters above from sea level. It is the stronghold of the renowned Konyak tribe, one of the largest tribe in Nagaland. It consists of a cluster of villages. Upon arrival at Mon, check in to the hotel. Overnight at hotel in Mon.

Day 08: Mon - Chui - Longwa - Mon(Excursion Tour)

After having an early breakfast, proceed to Chui village, which is located at the distance of 8 kilometres away from Mon. it is the unique village, where you will find the traditional houses of the Konyak tribes. It is also renowned village for its ethnic craftsmanship

Later proceed to Longwa, which is located at the distance of about 42 kilometres away from Mon. it shares the international boundary of Myanmar and India.

En route stop at the bank of river Tapi and have the packed lunch. Overnight at hotel in Mon. Return back to Mon in the evening. Overnight at hotel.

Day 09: Mon Sightseeing

Today after breakfast visit Mon village which is located at the distance of about 7 Kilometres away from the Mon town, where you will get the chance to meet the King, who ruled over 12 villages. Also visit Morung, and understand the significant tribal lifestyle of the villages.

Return back to Mon in the evening. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10:Mon – Jorhat(By Road-157 Kilometres)

After breakfast, proceed to Jorhat.   It is a small city in the state of Assam in India. Guwahati and Jorhat are underway to become two sunshine cities of Assam as declared by the government. Upon arrival check in to the hotel. After freshen up, proceed to visit Tocklai Tea Research Centre. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 11: Jorhat - Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary – Jorhat (By Road-25 Kilometres)

Today after breakfast, proceed to explore Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary, which is located at the distance of about 24 kilometres from Jorhat. This amazing Sanctuary is blessed with evergreen forests of tea gardens, which is a home to a number of mammalians, including Tigers, Assamese Macaques, Elephants, Pig Tailed Macaques, Leopards, Jungle Cats and Capped Lingers. After sightseeing return back to the hotel. Rest day is free at leisure.

Day 12: Jorhat - MajuliIsland– Jorhat (By Road-45 Kilometres) via Kamalibari - Nimati Ferry Service

After having an early breakfast, proceed to Nimatighat to take the ferry to Majul, .Majuli is the world's largest river island of Bhramaputra River, About 1250 km, Majuli places are famous for festivals and their old Satra. Here visit the Assam oldest SatraKamalabariSatra, AuniatiSatra, GarmurSatra, Majuli;s one of the popular sightseeing Chetiagaon village. After sightseeing return back to Jorhat in the evening.

Day 13: Jorhat - Ziro (By Road- 272 Kilometres)

Today after early breakfast, proceed to Ziro. It is renowned World Heritage Site, which is located at the distance of 272Kms form the Nameri National Park.  En route enjoy the stunning surroundings. Upon arrival at Ziro, check in to your pre booked hotel. Ziro is home to the Apatani tribe, which have a few unique special characteristic features which differs from other tribes. Rest day is free at leisure.

Overnight stay in Ziro.

Day 14:  Ziro Sightseeing

Post breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing in and around the Ziro, visit famous Hong Village which is known as Asia’s largest tribal village, also visit Apatani villages and ZiroLimekin Nishi tribal villages.  After visiting these places return back to Ziro.

Overnight stay in Ziro.

Day 15: Ziro - Nameri National Park(By Road-320 Kilometres)

Post breakfast drive to Nameri.  Nameri is situated on the banks of the JiaBhoroli River and on the Assam-Arunachal border, it opened in Nov 1998 and is home to the white winged duck, Sambhar, Barking Deer, Hog Deer and Elephants. Upon arrival check in to the lodge/camp. Rest day is free at leisure. In the evening enjoy a show of traditional well known Assamese dance Bihu Dance.

Overnight at hotel.

Day 16: Nameri - Dirang(By Road-165 Kilometres)

Today early morning, proceed to trek to National Park. Enjoy the magical view of Himalayan mountain ranges along with the unique species of birds and the vast flora and fauna.

Return to your camp /lodge, and have the breakfast.  After breakfast, proceed for River Rafting on JiaBhorali River. Enjoy the stunning surroundings while sailing on the boat.

Post lunch, drive to Dirang which is known as the land of Monpa tribes of Arunachal Pradesh. It is renowned for sheep breeding farms, natural hot springs and apple orchards.

Enroute visit Tippi Orchid Centre and Sessa Orchid Sanctuary.

Upon arrival check in to the hotel. Overnight at Dirang.

Day 17: Dirang Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for the sightseeing of Dirang. Visit Sangti Valley which is located at the banks of Sangti River. Later visit the Sheep Breeding Centre, DirangDzong. Return to your hotel.

Overnight at Dirang.

Day 18: Dirang – Sela Pass (By Road- 63 Kilometres) - Tawang (By Road-67 Kilometres)

Today after breakfast, dive to Tawang. Tawang is one of the most beautiful town in Arunachal Pradesh which is located at the height of about 10,000 feet above sea level, boarded by Tibet in the North, Bhutan in the South-West.  Tawang is known for its natural beauty as there are many beautiful glacier lakes in and around the town.  En route visit the Sela Pass which is located at the height of about 14,000 feet, surrounded by alpine forest and covered with snow for most of the year.  There is a small lake located at this place called Paradise Lake, it is frozen at this time of the year.

You may also visit the spectacular Nuranang Falls, which is also known as Jang Falls, Just below the waterfall it falls into the Tawang River.

Upon arrival at Tawang, Check into your hotel. Rest for a while.  Post lunch visit the famous 300 year old Monastery, Tawang Monastery. It is the oldest Gompa in India and second largest Monastery or Gompa in Asia. The Monastery is situated at the height of approximately 12000 feet above the sea level. An eight meter high gilded statue of the Buddha is located here. It also houses the various old Thankas (traditional paintings) and manuscripts.

Dinner and overnight at Tawang.

Day 19: Tawang Sightseeing

Today after breakfast proceed to visit the one of the most beautiful and highest lake Pangong Tang Tso, it located at the height of about 14,270 feet above from the sea level. This is an extremely scenic lake offer the breath taking view of the town.

 Return in time for lunch. Rest day is free at leisure or you can do some shopping at the local market or explore the stunning surroundings of the place on your own. Dinner and overnight at Tawang.

Day 20: Tawang–Bomdila (By Road-171 Kilometres)

Post breakfast drive to Bomdila , which is located at the distance of about 230 kilometres away from Tawang.  It is surrounded by lush green forest, apple orchards and misty mountains, It is also the home of Buddhist monasteries. Located at the height of height of 2,530 meters above from the sea level.  It is district headquarter of the West Kameng in Arunachal Pradesh

Upon arrival in Bomdila. Check in to your pre booked hotel. Have the lunch at hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure or you can take a leisure walk and explore the surrounds along with that you may also test the local foods or can do some shopping at local market and buy some handicraft items.

 Return to your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Bomdila.

Day 21: Bomdila- Tezpur(By Road-154 Kilometres)

Today after having an early breakfast proceed to Tezpur. It is located on the north bank of the Brahmaputra, it is one of the most beautiful city in the state of Assam. Tezpur is also one of the historical city. The city abounds in archaeological sites, hills, lakes and gardens.

Upon arrival, check in at tea garden bungalow. After freshen up, visit the tea factory. Overnight at Tezpur.

Day 22: Tezpur – Kaziranga National Park (By Road-51 Kilometres)

Upon arrival at Guwahati airport, Meet and assist by our representative at the airport. After welcome, drive to Kaziranga National Park, which is located at the distance of about 51kilometres away from Tezpur. It is the home of the greater one-horned rhinoceros.

Upon arrival at Kaziranga. Check in at your pre booked hotel/Lodge/resort. Rest day is free for leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 23: Kaziranga National Park

Today early morning, proceed to explore the Eastern zone of Kaziranga National Park Enjoy the national park to seating on back of elephant. Apart from the Rhino, it is also the home of some other species such as swamp deer, wild buffalo, hog deer and elephants. There are a number of water bodies inside the Park.

After visit, return to the resort for breakfast. Afternoon, proceed for jeep safari through the Central Zone of the National Park. Evening come back to the hotel.

Day 24: Kaziranga National Park - Guwahati (By Road-195 Kilometres)

Today after breakfast proceed to Guwahati, the biggest city in north east defined by the breath-taking river Brahmaputra, which flows here. The city sprawls along the curve of the river. Home to the world’s largest tea auction centre, and more importantly is the gateway to the whole of the north-eastern region of India.

On arrival, check in to the hotel. Rest day is free at leisure.Evening visit 'Kalakshetra', it is the unique place where, you can understand the Assamese history and culture, which presents through Light and sound show. Return to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 25: Guwahati (Depart)

After breakfast, Check out from hotel and proceed to visit the Kamakhya Temple. The temple is one of the 51 Shakti Pithas, which is located on the Nilachal Hill in western part of Guwahati city. It is one of the oldest temple and holiest shrine for Hindus.
